RSS

I like using the RSS and newsreaders. I usually have to go to a bunch of different sites to get my info. This way I can consolidate all the places I want to connect with in one place and just click. I think it is a good organizational tool for work or home. Libraries could certainly use this technology to group feeds for different topics. You can find feeds in a basic way by just seeing if the sites you like, use them. I found a feed for Variety and New York Times. I thought the Bloglines search was easy to use. I also liked Technorati. I didn't really like the way Syndic8 was set up.

Glad this worked so well for you. I've found as I've been working on this program, people either love it or they hate it. I don't have as many feeds as you do, but I do like it for the ones I have (mostly blogs on topics that interest me).
